Hey Duggee Magazine Review

Today sees the launch of an exciting new magazine from the popular Hey Duggee children's programme by CBeebies

Hey Duggee is a fun and educational programme aimed at 2-6 years olds. The monthly magazine is priced at £2.75 and is a great price for pocket money treats as it keeps the little ones entertained for hours.

The magazine is full of fun and entertaining activities for the little ones and is based on the 7 areas of learning (Feeling good, expressive arts and design, maths, literacy, communication and language, finding out and let's move).

Each issue includes a free gift and stickers (the first issue comes with a Hey Duggee chef's hat, cookie cutter, whisk and spoon, to get the children's imagination racing!).

Both my boys were really excited when the colourful magazine arrived.  They couldn't wait to open the free gifts and start playing with them.  We have put the cookie cutter in the baking drawer, so my youngest can have the Hey Duggee cookies on his Halloween birthday!

The toys were well made and safe (some magazine toys are a little shoddy!) and most importantly they were fun.

The boys got stuck in straight away to the magazine.  The worked really nicely together, sharing the activities and talking about the Hey Duggee characters. It was a joy to watch them work so closely and NOT argue! :)

On the first page of the magazine they could write their names and then there were sticker activities to complete.

Once each page activity had been completed there was a reward sticker to say you have properly completed the task. Which meant they had read, understand and carried out the activity properly.  Great added touch!

Great team work!

Overall, we loved the Hey Duggee Magazine.  It is full of wonderful activities to keep your little ones entertained (especially now the weather is turning).  The characters are fun and cheeky, but educational themes run through it.  As always, the CBeebies have created a great magazine and is a helpful addition to any child's development , We would highly recommend this (even if your little ones haven't seen Hey Duggee before) it’s just the right mix of fun and educational activities to keep both children and parents happy.
