We all know the benefits of drinking milk. It is a great source of calcium for the body. Milk is filled with Vitamin D which helps the body absorb calcium. Calcium intake contributes to strong and healthy bones as well as contributing to healthy teeth. So, what better way to take milk, but in the purest form, Cravendale.
Cravendale use ceramic filters to remove more of the bacteria that turn milk sour, so it stays pure and fresh for twice as long as standard milk without additional heat treatment. Cravendale stays fresh for 21 days unopened, and 7 days once opened.
Our household loves milk, the boys drink it straight our of the fridge, "cold and refreshing" (that's their words!). We consume about 12 pints of milk per week, and that's mainly the boys, as my husband has his milk consumption whilst at work and so do I. So between two young boys, they drink a lot of milk! I couldn’t put the freshness challenge to the test as the boys finish a bottle within a few days!
We were very happy to receive our Cravendale coupons and to review it. It's been a while since we had Cravendale as our milkman doesn't stock Cravendale. We get our milk delivered (by a milkman in a milk float....the milk float sold me on that service!). My boys are milk connoisseurs; it has to be the right glass, the right temperature, not drunk too quickly etc etc!
But they took to the Cravendale milk like they had never drunk anything else. I shouldn't have been worried as it does taste the same, the consistency is the same. If anything I would say the 'milk smell' was a lot fresher than the usual white stuff we have.
Here's a little poem I wrote about milk and Cravendale to get your taste buds going:
How amazing is milk, we love to drink it all day;
We drink it after a walk, or even after a long play.
We know that milk is good for us and started drinking Cravendale;
We've drunk so much of it, we can tell it will stop us feeling frail.
It's so creamy, fresh and yummy to drink;
That when I've filled up a cup, it's gone in a blink.
Our milk is drunk in glasses, cups and through straws;
With the amount of health benefits milk should get a round of applause!
We won't stop drinking it as it just tastes too yummy;
And we all love the feeling of milk sloshing in our tummy.
